Brambles and Her Puppies

Meanwhile we are hopefully fulfilling a wish that we failed to do with Bruno. We always regretted not having a litter from Bruno.

So we have been thinking? Brambles is now 3 yrs old and a lovely little lady, do we have a litter? Yes so we plan to have one litter from her and as Bracken has his deformed toe, he has been castrated and is nicknamed "no nuts" so he can not be the father.

We have been looking for a mate for her next season, which was due in January / February 2014 but came in December 2013.

We are sure Brambles will make a great mum.

We have found a mate for Brambles, (Rob an English Springer Spaniel - Buccleuch Victory of Arduinna) a trained gun dog a lovely lad. Click here to see Robs website www.arduinnagundogs.co.uk (there seems to be a problem with Robs website but it will be fixed soon)

He and Brambles hit it off immediately on Boxing Day 2013, we don't know who had the best Christmas present!!

We had her scanned on Wed 5th February 2014 and she is in pup with about 5 puppies, Emma the vet says she is 5 1/2 weeks. They are due the end of February beginning of March.

Tues 25th February 2014, we have just had Brambles into see Emma, the vet, for a pre whelp check, all is ok and we await the arrival of her puppies.
